Rawda Essentials
From downloading the Nusuk app, to registering and booking a successful Rawda appointment…we’ve got you covered!
FAQ:
Q: Is it true you can only book a Rawda appointment once a year?
A: Correct! The nusuk app uses your passport number, NOT your visa number for the appointment. so even if you get a new visa, your passport number is the name. unless you have multiple different passports, you can book a Rawda appointment once a year..HOWEVER…there is a new feature that allows you to book multiple time WHILE YOU ARE IN VICINITY of Masjid Al-Nabawi via the INSTANT tract(you must enable geo location for the app)
Q: Can I cancel my Rawda appointment and reschedule it?
A: YES! as long as your appointed time did not pass, you can easily reschedule it!
Q: I see a countdown to confirm my Rawdah attendance…BUT I CANT click on anything, what do I do??
A: No worries, 48 hours BEFORE your appointed time, you will get an option to confirm your booking. you have until 2 hours before your booking time to confirm before it gets cancelled…so you have plenty of time to confirm you book. that countdown is actually when you will see the confirmation button for you to click
Q: Does my child need an appointment?
A: Yes, every single visitor to the Rawda WILL need their own appointment!(see below for details)**
Q: When I book my appointment, it shows that i booked the NEXT day instead of the day I chose?
A: That is ok and normal. It will resync to the correct day you chose when you land in Saudi.
Q: Do they accept screen shots of the QR code?
A: Absolutely, please take a screenshot of your QR code(or add it to your apple wallet)
Q: I CANT FIND THE QR CODE??
A: No worries, on the Nusuk Home Screen Click on Services(located at the bottom banner). Then Click on Permits. for iPhone users you will see an option to add to apple wallet immediately. Android users will have to wait 2 hours before their appointment to get the QR code
Q: I got a new visa, why cant I book another appointment
A: Because the Rawda’s 1 year allowance is linked to your passport, not the visa.
Rawdah Appointments for Children
Age? Their is no official minimum age that is published, however typically they don’t allow anyone under 7 years old, however the guards may not allow even 9 year old’s depending on the guards.
Separate Registration? Yes, they will need to register, which means they will need their own email AND unfortunately with the latest update their own phone number. (I don’t understand how they can expect a child to have their own number-but I really hope they remove this requirement in the future)
